GLOBALG.A.P (IFA), Version 5

The new IFA Version 5 comes into force on 1 July 2015, with the exception of the Livestock Control Points and Compliance Criteria (CPCC), which will be published in September 2015.
With respect to stakeholder involvement and impact, IFA V5 has been the most comprehensive amendment to date, with more than 1,500 comments received and more than 110 organizations actively involved, contributing 2,600 expert hours in meetings and webinars.
IFA V5 Adaptation Period until July 2016:
Producers can choose to be certified against V4 or V5. From 1 July 2016, IFA V5 becomes mandatory; all new certifications must comply with the new version. IFA V4 certificates will remain valid until June 2017.
Translations of IFA V5:
The translation of IFA V5 is ongoing, with publication of the first translations expected in October 2015.
