CSQA QUALITY POLICY

The Management System of CSQA Certificazioni Srl is aimed at safeguarding and ensuring the following aspects:
  •  compliance with the Standards for the establishment and activities of Certification Bodies in order to obtain and maintain the required accreditations/authorizations;
  • compliance with the Standards for the establishment and activities of Inspection Bodies (excluding the "PDO/PGI/TSG" product areas) in order to obtain and maintain the required accreditations/authorizations;
  • the implementation of certification and inspection activities guaranteeing competence at all levels; in particular:
    • the use of qualified internal staff who operate with absolute freedom;
    • the planned training and updating of personnel involved in certification and inspection activities;
    • the use of accredited / qualified test laboratories;
    • the use of auditors and technical experts who possess the competence requirements and personal characteristics required by international and national standards and regulations. To this end, they are subject to selection and monitoring aimed at assessing these characteristics, as well as to planned training during the period in which they operate on behalf of CSQA.
    • the use of inspectors who possess the competence requirements and personal characteristics required by international and national standards and regulations and/or, in case the inspection activity is carried out on behalf of third parties, of the requirements set by the Contractor or agreed with it;
  • the independence and impartiality of the functions and personnel involved in the certification activity, in particular:
    • the distinction and absolute independence and impartiality of the function that propose the certification, the one that takes the certification decision and the one safeguarding impartiality;
    • the establishment and the absolute independence and impartiality of the Committee for Safeguarding Impartiality, a committee representative of the concerned parties and the guarantee of CSQA impartiality and independence;
  • the independence and impartiality of the functions and personnel involved in the inspection activities through organizational arrangements and the use of documented procedures;
  • compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements regarding the confidentiality and security of data and records;
  • the full transparency of certification and inspection activities; in particular:
    • the application of price lists which are approved by the responsible bodies, ensuring fairness and uniformity;
    • compliance with the scheduled times for the completion of preparatory, inspection, certification and surveillance activities;
    • compliance with the conditions of provision of certification and inspection services by Applicants/Organizations and CSQA itself;
    • the guarantee that any individual that has the requirements and that requests the service within CSQA's business sectors can access the certification and inspection standards (subject to the exclusions mentioned above);
    • the establishment of an Independent Appeal Committee for the management of appeals related to the certification activity, while avoiding as far as possible the occurrence of situations that may be the cause of appeal to the Appeal Committee by Applicants/Organizations or third parties;
    • the acceptance of the judgments passed by the Appeal Committee and the implementation of the consequent actions;
  • the pursuit of the highest satisfaction of Applicants/Organizations in relation to certification and inspection activities, through:
    • access to the complaint instrument;
    • adequate and rapid answers to complaints raised by Applicants/Organizations;
    • identification of appropriate actions to improve the service over time, including the use of questionnaires for customer satisfaction assessment;
  • verification of compliance with the quality policy and the degree of achievement of the objectives through internal audits;
  • the periodic assessment of the adequacy of the aforementioned orientation and of the defined objectives, through periodic and planned management reviews.
