WHAT IS THAT
DTP 042 is a CSQA proprietary standard.
It was developed to ensure the absence of added animal proteins and fats in feed production.
It is a product certification, therefore it allows to communicate elements of added value on the finished product, both in relation to zootechnical feed and in relation to the product of animal origin intended for human consumption.
It is a required certification:
- by feed manufacturers,
- from distribution chains
- and/or from animal supply chains.
It is also recognized in the case of voluntary labeling of meat, both beef (EC Reg. 1760/00 ) and poultry (DM 29/07/2004 ).
