CSQA Gender Equality Policy

CSQA recognizes the constitutional principles of equality and parity and the principles of gender equity expressed in the National Strategy on Gender Equality 2021-2025 and considers its commitment to these issues a significant contribution to the achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda), in particular Goal 5: Gender Equality and Goal 10: Reduction of inequalities.

CSQA, in implementation of the values expressed in its Code of Ethics , and those already expressed in the Quality Policy (MOD050) of:

  • Competence, ethics, passion and integrity
  • Constant commitment to innovation to anticipate change
  • Third-party support for agri-food quality and Italian excellence in general
  • Teamwork and shared management
  • Responsibility towards the environment, society and human rights
and in compliance with the provisions of UNI/PdR125:2022, is committed to promoting gender equality , enhancing diversity and supporting female empowerment and in particular:
  • To promote an organizational culture that values equity and inclusiveness through information and awareness-raising activities among internal employees, encouraging them to use behaviors and language that ensure an inclusive work environment that respects gender diversity.
  • to apply consistent processes in the management and development of human resources , at all stages of the personnel life cycle: selection, onboarding, role assignment, performance evaluation, compensation, access to training and opportunities for career advancement and internal mobility, and termination of employment.
  • to promote working methods that favor the reconciliation of personal and work life.
  • to prevent all forms of harassment in the workplace by adopting a “zero tolerance” for any form of violence against employees, including sexual harassment in any form.
  • to promote communication and stakeholder engagement activities on the issues of inclusion, gender equality, and integration.
  • to promote communication and marketing activities consistent with its commitment , avoiding the use of gender stereotypes and using language that is attentive to diversity and inclusive, and paying attention to gender balance among speakers on round table panels, events, and organized conferences.
CSQA has therefore established a Steering Committee for Gender Equality which is responsible for implementing this Policy.
