
The celebrations of the product par excellence of Cimadolmo, his majesty the white asparagus, are about to begin. Which is not just a vegetable, but a true treasure of the territory, cultivated since 1600 along the banks of the Piave. From April 24 to May 4, stands will be open for the 50th edition of the Cimadolmo IGP White Asparagus Exhibition, which will be preceded by a long series of initiatives linked to local producers.

As part of the “Spring Sprouts” event, promoted by Unpli, numerous initiatives will be held to promote the Cimadolmo PGI White Asparagus and the territory in which it is grown. Among these, the “Walking in Nature” project , which offers guided excursions to discover the lands of asparagus. This additional project is coordinated by Gloria Trevisiol.
The Asparago Bianco di Cimadolmo PGI is subject to a strict specification, which regulates each phase. This rigor guarantees a very high standard. The quality of the product is guaranteed by the Consortium for the protection, in collaboration with the certification body Csqa of Thiene.
