By decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, CSQA obtained authorization to carry out inspection and certification activities for Carne Salada del Trentino PGI, which officially entered the European Register of Geographical Indications in October 2025.
The market launch of the first PGI-certified products is approaching. This excellence is deeply rooted in the Trentino region and its gastronomic tradition, made from selected beef cured in brine with spices and aromatic herbs, in compliance with a production specification that protects the product's distinctive characteristics. This new Geographical Indication strengthens the portfolio of quality supply chains in Trentino-Alto Adige, comprising 30 PDO and PGI agricultural and wine products, with a production value of over €1 billion and the involvement of over 20,000 operators.
