By virtue of the agreement signed in November 2011, the Ministry of the Environment assigned Accredia the responsibility of accrediting the bodies for the Emas scheme.
After a transition period which provides for verification activities carried out jointly by Accredia and ISPRA, from 1 January 2014 the entire accreditation management will be by Accredia.
