Certification of trade fairs

The Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces has approved the Protocol for the certification of exhibition data which can be carried out for each individual exhibition by certification bodies accredited by ACCREDIA.

The exhibition data can be certified according to the reference standard ISO 25639:08 and the applicable legal provisions, including the resolutions of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, ensuring professionalism, integrity and truthfulness.

By promoting a common reference for exhibition evaluation, and by enabling verification of the statistics provided for each exhibition and trade show, ISO 25639 supports:

• The recognition and qualification of the events, for a better selection by the exhibiting companies
• The reliability and credibility of statistical data, to protect the right to correct information for the market

Are subjected to certification:

For visitors :

• the number;
• their provenance;
• the type (optional).

For exhibitors :

• the number;
• their provenance;
• the typology

For display surfaces :

• the measurement of the net exhibition area;
• the origin of the direct exhibitors occupying them;
• the typology

For conference activities :

• the number of congressional and similar events
