From food to biofuel. And now the "stamp" for AI too.

The latest frontier is artificial intelligence . The CSQA in Thiene was the first body in Italy to obtain accreditation to issue certification in the AI field .

"Just as ISO 9000 taught us how to achieve quality, today ISO 42001 will help manage this new technology with rules established at the European level for responsible and ethical use." From the table to AI, a 35-year leap that is now accelerating.

Pietro Bonato , from Bassano, a founder of CSQA in 1990, is president of the publicly controlled certification body (90.32% owned by Veneto Agricoltura) with 300 employees, 500 inspectors, and 12 offices, including one in Poland. It was the first Italian body accredited in the food sector , and its experience in food-related certifications has led it to ensure processes and management systems in a wide variety of sectors: quality, environment, energy, workplace safety, information security, and social responsibility.

" Among the first in the field of cybersecurity ," Bonato recalls, "he certified prestigious names from the Bank of Italy to INPS, from the Ministry of Defense to Bocconi University. Services are growing and accounts are accelerating."
