Governing is better than being ruled. Otherwise, it's pure chaos, and no one benefits. Artificial Intelligence is one of those revolutions that can't be ignored. Rather, it must be deciphered, understood, and then put to work for growth and well-being.

And the key word when it comes to change is rules. This concept inspired the conference "Governing Transformation in the AI Era. Compliance as a Lever of Competitiveness ," organized and promoted by Formiche , in collaboration with CSQA , Italy's leading certification body for the agri-food sector and the control and promotion of PDO, PGI, and TSG products. CSQA is also active in sustainability, digital services and IT security, healthcare, and training. The aim was to give specific weight to the set of rules, controls, procedures, and standards without which it is unthinkable to leverage cutting-edge technologies as a lever for the economy.

After the introductory greetings by Maria Chiara Ferrarese , general director and CEO of CSQA, the discussion on the topic was moderated by the director of Formiche , Flavia Giacobbe , by Andrea Billet , director of supervision and certification at the National Cybersecurity Agency, Maurizio Stumbo , head of the cyber, infrastructure and data center division of Sogei, Bruno Bernardi , head of the Digital Services Area at CSQA, Andrea Chittaro , chief security & cyber officer of Snam and Anna Conte , head of digital & cybersecurity services development at CSQA.

At the same time, the strengthening of the European regulatory framework, from the AI Act to NIS2, and Dora (the European regulation that defines a harmonized framework for cybersecurity and digital operational resilience in the financial sector), is pushing organizations to shift from technological innovation to managed innovation.
