"Grana Padano is not in crisis. Indeed, it continues to represent the world's most profitable destination for milk produced from cows fed corn silage, and is one of the pillars of national livestock farming." This was emphatically reiterated by the general director of the Consortium for its protection, Stefano Berni , who rejected the alarmist hypotheses recently circulating that attribute Grana Padano's responsibility for a drop in the price of Italian milk. "Anyone who talks about a Grana Padano crisis is making a huge mistake," says Berni. "Grana Padano has never been in crisis, and it still isn't today. It continues to guarantee the world's best return on milk produced from silage, and consumption, especially abroad, is growing."

Caseificio Torre Pallavicina is the first Grana Padano dairy to obtain authorization to use the Made Green in Italy logo, granted by adhering to the national scheme promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security to enhance the environmental performance of Italian products.
For the Bergamo plant, this represents a significant milestone for one of the most representative Made in Italy agri-food supply chains. It is the culmination of a structured and shared process, made possible thanks to the collaboration between the production system and a qualified team of research institutions. Specifically, the project was developed with the scientific contributions of the Polytechnic University of Milan (Polirai), the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Unicatt), and Enersem , a leading organization in environmental analysis and the sustainability of agri-food systems, certified by CSQA .
