The Miralfiore "Health Park" was brought yesterday to the council which approved the protocol that the Municipality will sign together with Confagricoltura, AssoverdeItalian Association of Green Builders, Kèpos - White Book of Green Aps, Fondazione Alberi Italia giving the go-ahead to the project evaluated by the Csqa certification body .
«The 23 hectares of the park, a 5-minute walk from Piazza del Popolo, already contain a historic forest, an inclusive play area, a refreshment point, an amphitheater and lakes. Furthermore, with the announcement of the suburbs it will be connected to the station via the Bicipolitana, becoming unique – explain Conti and Belloni -. With this new initiative we are going to expand the functions of the Miralfiore by adding those of ecosystem enhancement and health protection to the recreational, cultural and environmental-naturalistic ones."
