The Acquerino-Cantagallo Reserve is taking a new step in its journey to combine environmental protection, health, and wellness. The " Biodiversity Friend® Forest – Therapy module " certification process, promoted by the Municipality of Cantagallo with the World Biodiversity Association, Teffit (Forest Therapies in Italian Forests), and certified by CSQA , was officially launched in recent days.
The project aims to certify the forest's environmental quality and biodiversity as elements for the development of forest therapies , increasingly considered a complementary tool for prevention, treatment, and psychophysical well-being . The certification also covers aspects related to the safety, accessibility, and usability of the trails, through Teffit's scientific protocols.
“For Cantagallo this represents a very important step,” underlines Mayor Guglielmo Bongiorno , “because it confirms our desire to invest in a territorial model that enhances natural heritage as a resource for people's well-being.”
