She is young, a woman and part of a family that has made transforming soft wheat into flour a commitment and an art. Silvia Pivetti is the CEO and president of the board of directors of Molini Pivetti , 150 years of history, which spans, in fact, two centuries, and five generations. Her commitment, as well as that of her entire family, is linked to the territory , but also to sustainability and doing well.

“The territory is our strength,” he says. “We have six centers in Emilia-Romagna , three in Ferrara, two in Bologna and one in Modena. We store about 130 thousand tons of wheat every year . Thanks to this capacity we are able to respond to a very high demand from customers , such as that caused by the pandemic during the emergency period and again after the outbreak of the war between Ukraine and Russia.”

Not only that. «The owned silos – he adds – also allow us to control the origin of the raw material , reduce the use of chemicals to a minimum, keep the varieties of wheat separate, have direct contact with the farmers, who can use the silos.

Since 2019, we have also equipped ourselves with an automated warehouse , a true symbol of digital innovation with a total capacity of 6 thousand pallet spaces and capable of moving 150 every hour".

The president of the board of directors emphasizes, in fact, that "today, more than ever, economic growth must go hand in hand with respect for the environment, for people, for future generations. For us it is a concrete commitment that means putting the territory and the entire supply chain at the center, enhancing our roots and a knowledge that we are bearers of. For this reason, the Campi Protetti Pivetti brand is guaranteed by the international body CSQA , which certifies a transparent, rigorous supply chain, rooted in the provinces of Bologna, Modena and Ferrara. Here 100% Emilian flours are born, authentic, genuine, fruit of our land and teamwork.

For us , sustainability and the value of the territory are the prerequisites for every activity and small action: we take care of our Emilian supply chain because we firmly believe in conscious and respectful agriculture. It is an important investment that we make also addressing the new generations, for this reason it is very close to our hearts and we will continue to implement the project in collaboration with the primary and nursery schools of Ferrara and the province 'Adopt a wheat field', which teaches children the value of biodiversity and the deep bond with our land".
