Call it a turning point. This recognition goes beyond symbolic value and translates into a concrete benefit for the entire Italian agricultural system. Confagricoltura's Agricultural Assistance Center (CAA) has achieved ISO 27001 certification , the international standard that attests to the highest levels of information management security.
It was released by CSQA , a leading certification body in Italy, which certified Confagricoltura's compliance process with the standard.
The official award ceremony took place in the historic setting of Palazzo della Valle in Rome, in the presence of representatives of CSQA – Anna Conte and Luca Valdetara – and the heads of Confagricoltura: Roberto Caponi , general director, Vito Antonio Diomeda , delegate councilor of the CAA and Gabriella Proietti , technical manager.
A strategic perspective for agricultural businesses
ISO 27001 certification is more than just a bureaucratic requirement; it's a guarantee of reliability and transparency for agricultural businesses that rely on the CAA system to manage their data and public administration procedures. It ensures the protection of sensitive information, operational continuity, and compliance with privacy and IT security regulations.
In a context where the digitalization of agricultural services is proceeding at a rapid pace, data protection is becoming a competitive factor.
For Confagricoltura, achieving this certification strengthens the trust of member companies, public bodies, and citizens , consolidating an organizational model based on safety and responsibility.
