The awards ceremony for the 12th annual Rotary Club Ravenna Student Award, focusing on innovation and sustainability in agriculture, took place in a packed auditorium at the Perdisa Agricultural Technical Institute in Ravenna.

The awards were presented by the President of the Rotary Club of Ravenna, Dr. Gennaro Zinno, for the works of students Giorgia Aralia, Chiara Casadio, Gabriel Fantini, Loris Ragazzini, Enea Dragoni, and Luca Berti, on the topic of "The ESG approach and sustainability standards in agriculture."

The ceremony was also attended by the principal of the Perdisa Agricultural Technical Institute, Professor Paolo Taroni, and Professor Stella Salemi, demonstrating the collaboration between the school and the professional world.

Speakers included Francesco Lengua, food safety auditor, trainer, and senior CSQA consultant, who discussed ESG sustainability; Alessandro Mattiazzi, head of the CSQA Agro, Food, Wood, and Services division, who discussed GLOBAL GAP and SQNPI certifications; and Matteo Roberto Ciancia (Farming Srl), who illustrated the role of innovative technologies in supporting sustainability in agriculture.
