The Europrivacy certification allows companies to demonstrate that they have implemented a privacy system which, according to the provisions of articles 42 and 43 of the GDPR, adopts a systematic approach to treatment, aimed at satisfying the requirements set by the European Regulation.Europrivacy is the first scheme to be approved by the EDPB (European Data Protection Board) in October 2022 and is constantly updated by the European Center for Certification and Privacy (ECCP).
The ECCP licenses the certification scheme to accredited bodies who are selected according to high-level parameters and requirements.
