The day at CSQA represented a central stage of the journey , offering participants a concrete opportunity to learn more about the DOP and IGP certification systems and their strategic role in the sustainable development of agri-food supply chains .

The meeting addressed key issues such as the functioning of control systems, the link between Designations of Origin and territorial development, and opportunities for positioning on global markets.

The delegation, composed of producers, institutional representatives and project technicians, was able to interact directly with CSQA experts, in a multidisciplinary dialogue aimed at encouraging the exchange of skills and the identification of future collaboration opportunities .

This visit is part of the broader context of activities undertaken during Macfrut 2026, a major international event dedicated to the fruit and vegetable sector, which promoted dialogue between Italy and Colombia on strategic issues such as traceability, biodiversity, and sustainable rural development.

The meeting confirms CSQA's role as a key international partner in certification systems and the promotion of quality agri-food products , actively contributing to the dissemination of sustainable and replicable models of territorial development.
