Gender Impact and Public Administration: UNI/PdR 180 UNI has published UNI/PdR 180:2026Gender impact assessment of legislative measures and ex-ante and ex-post investment programmes”.

The document was drafted together with the Inclusione Donna network, represented in this context by ASLA, the Association of Associated Law Firms, CONFAPID, the National Group of Women Entrepreneurs of Confapi, and ManagerItalia.

The practice is aimed at Public Administration (PA) and provides recommendations and requirements for the adoption of a set of performance indicators (KPIs) relating to the Gender Impact Assessment (GEA) both ex ante and ex post of investment projects and legislative measures.

In fact, one of the objectives of UNI/PdR 180 is the integration of the principles of gender equality and respect for diversity within society.

In addition to being certifiable with the UNI Mark, UNI/PdR 180 is a further tool available to the Public Administration useful for the adoption of concrete measures for gender budgeting , in line with European directives, i.e. a set of techniques available to governments to achieve an allocation of resources that also has the objective of promoting gender equality .

The document, in fact, refers to policies, programs, spending, and investments in terms of their impact on women and men, with particular reference to female employment growth in Italy and the promotion of businesses committed to gender equality.

UNI/PdR 180 joins the catalog of tools dedicated to gender equality, which, together with UNI/PdR 125 and UNI ISO 30415 , support businesses, public administration, and society as a whole in building a more equitable present. (Source: https://www.uni.com /)
