Caseificio Torre Pallavicina has obtained the Made Green in Italy logo . This marks a historic milestone for the Italian dairy industry, opening up new sustainability opportunities. The recognition obtained by Caseificio Torre Pallavicina is promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and recognizes the environmental performance of its products through scientific, measurable, and comparable criteria.
The result of the dairy, a member of the Protection Consortium, is the fruit of a structured and shared path , developed with the scientific contribution of the Polytechnic of Milan, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and Enersem, a spin-off of the Polytechnic, and certified by CSQA .
The Made Green in Italy scheme is based on the PEF – Product Environmental Footprint methodology , which analyses the environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of the product.
