Promarche renews its ISO 14001 certification following an audit conducted by the CSQA certification body. This recognition confirms the robustness of the company's environmental management system and the path it has taken to improve its environmental performance over time, in compliance with regulations and through responsible process management.
The international standard ISO 14001 defines the requirements for a structured environmental management system, focused on impact management, efficient use of resources, and the prevention and reduction of waste. This approach engages the entire organization and helps strengthen transparency towards customers, institutions, and stakeholders.
For Oreste Aquilone , CEO of Promarche, the renewal represents much more than a formal requirement: «The renewal of the ISO 14001 certification does not represent a simple formal requirement, but the recognition of a path that Promarche has been pursuing with conviction for years» .
Aquilone also emphasizes the connection between business activities, sustainability, and the local community: "Operating with respect for the environment means taking on a concrete responsibility towards the local community, its citizens, and future generations. Every business decision must be geared towards combining competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability, in the knowledge that environmental protection is now an essential element for business growth."
