The specialization of Sienese artisans in confectionery, inherited from the ancient medieval spice shops, is the cornerstone of the product's identity. Controls and labelling
Product compliance checks with the specifications are carried out by an accredited inspection body. The currently designated inspection body is CSQA Certificazioni Srl.
