On June 13th, the event " SheCyber: Bridging the Gender Gap " took place at the SMI Group headquarters in Rome. The event was organized by SMI Group, a leading ICT group, in collaboration with the Department of Legal Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome and the European DIGITAL SME Alliance. The event featured a dialogue between institutions, academics, and cybersecurity experts on the need to bridge the gender gap in cybersecurity.

During the event , SMI Group was awarded the IQNet ISO/IEC 42001 Certification , the first Italian company to receive it. This important milestone was announced during the conference "The Value of Dialogue between Generations in the Business of the Future," organized to mark SMI Group's 10th anniversary and dedicated to intergenerational collaboration within the company.

During the event, Anna Conte , Head of Digital Services Development and Cybersecurity at CSQA , awarded SMI Group the IISO/IEC 42001 certification no. 86808 – Accredia. SMI Group is the first Italian company to obtain this certification, enabling it to develop trusted and transparent AI technologies and support its customers and partners in developing and adopting reliable, ethical, and sustainable AI systems.
