The FoodSafeR project, coordinated by FFoQSI (the Austrian Competence Centre for Food and Food Quality, Safety and Innovation), brings together 19 leading European academic, research and industrial organisations .
This collaborative initiative aims to revolutionise the way emerging food safety hazards are assessed and managed. By developing cutting-edge tools and frameworks, FoodSafeR represents a unique opportunity to improve food safety standards across Europe and beyond, ensuring a healthier and safer food supply chain.
FoodSafeR is addressing these challenges by creating a comprehensive suite of forward-looking tools, methods, strategies, models, guidelines and training materials.
Leveraging cutting-edge science, these resources will be accessible through the FoodSafeR Open Digital Hub , an all-in-one platform fostering a community of European and international food safety system professionals.
The mission is to provide a secure digital platform that centralizes access to reliable information, available data, and innovative tools, methods, and training resources to enable a specialized community of food safety professionals to effectively address emerging risks.
