CSQA participated in the event "Prostate cancer. Extended and certified multidisciplinarity improves results". The meeting, held in Rome, illustrated the main results of the activation and systematization of the Diagnostic-Therapeutic-Assistance Pathways - PDTA - for prostate cancer in 29 specialized Centers throughout Italy, as part of the " Prostate Cancer Team - a team of specialists against prostate cancer " project carried out with the unconditional contribution of Astellas Pharma and with the organizational support of OPT, aimed at the ISO 9001:2015 certification of the PDTAs by CSQA: an important milestone to guarantee continuous improvement in the level of quality and safety of care, according to an integrated multidisciplinary and multiprofessional approach.

«Multidisciplinarity, shared rules, performance indicators are the three key factors from which to start to design and implement a governance model in healthcare, capable of satisfying the needs and expectations of the three main stakeholders: patient, doctor, institutions» , declares Oreste Pitocchi, President of OPT SpA .

Among the speakers , Massimo Dutto, Head of Business Assurance Life Sciences CSQA with a speech on the theme of the PDTA Certification path.
