What is it?
PiantaNativa/Biodiversità is a brand that promotes the use of native plants of local origin .Its institutional mission is mainly aimed at the nursery and plant propagation fields.
Its aim is to promote the use of plants/seeds within the same "region of origin" in which the original seed was collected and, more generally, to enhance the provenance of plants and seeds.

The documents that describe its contents are the Regulations for the use of the Trademark , the Technical Specifications of the Trademark and the related attachments .
Veneto Agricoltura is responsible for the design, structure, and ownership of the PiantaNativa/Biodiversità brand, along with the related specifications.
CSQA is the manager of the PiantaNativa/ Biodiversità brand.
How to access the Brand
Technically, the Mark is a PRODUCT certification (ref. ISO/IEC 17065) and SINGLE (i.e. group certification is not foreseen, each member will have their own certificate).Steps to follow to request a trademark license:
- Submit the certification application
- The Management Body verifies the completeness of the application and starts the control process
- The Management Body carries out the required checks
- The Management Body examines the results of the checks and issues the certificate
- The license grants the right to use the Trademark
