This important new recognition allows CSQA to operate under accreditation for certification according to UNI/PdR 192:2026 “Management system for the conciliation of family and work life – Requirements for family well-being”, the Reference Practice that came into force on 14 April 2026.The Practice defines the requirements for organizations that intend to adopt a structured system of measures aimed at promoting the conciliation between family responsibilities and professional activity , with particular attention to maternity, paternity, care responsibilities, equal opportunities and organizational well-being.
A system based on measurable objectives and KPIs
UNI/PdR 192:2026 introduces a management model through which work-life balance policies enter a structured, verifiable path oriented towards continuous improvement. The Practice takes into consideration seven evaluation areas and associates specific quantitative and qualitative KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to each one, through which the organization can measure its level of maturity and periodically monitor its evolution.
The certification is applicable to private, public —subject to applicable regulations— and non-profit organizations, regardless of size and nature of their activity. The system takes into account different organizational characteristics through a principle of proportionality in the application and evaluation of indicators.
A new tool for social sustainability policies
UNI/PdR 192:2026 is part of the process promoted by the Department for Family Policies, in collaboration with the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with the aim of encouraging the adoption of company policies capable of concretely supporting families and participation in the labor market. The model also presents elements of complementarity with UNI/PdR 125:2022 on Gender Equality, a scheme for which CSQA is already accredited by Accredia.
Both include formalized policies, measurable objectives, concrete actions, monitoring through KPIs, periodic review, and continuous improvement.
This complementarity also allows for the possibility of carrying out integrated audits on the two management systems.
The benefits expected for certified companies
The UNI/PdR 192:2026 certification takes on particular importance also in light of the measures introduced by Legislative Decree no. 62 of 30 April 2026, converted with amendments by Law no. 112/2026.Businesses that possess the certifications identified by the legislation are exempt from paying employer social security contributions of up to 1%, up to a maximum of €50,000 per business per year .
Among the permitted certifications, UNI/PdR 192:2026 constitutes the reference based on a UNI technical-normative document that provides for accreditation.
