For this reason, obtaining the UNI 10881 certification, which occurred on November 21, 2025, following the inspection carried out on November 13 and 14, represents a significant and historic milestone for the Santa Maria Goretti Foundation – Personal Services.
This is an important sign of reliability and transparency towards families and the entire region , confirming the Santa Maria Goretti Foundation as one of the first regional institutions to be accredited at a level of excellence and to obtain such a comprehensive and integrated quality system, with the addition of an ISO 9001-compliant Organizational Management Model and a UNI 10881-certified focus on elderly care . All of this can certainly be improved in a complex system with many aspects to work on together for a participatory quality project. But thanks to the models adopted, there is now an organizational model and a system as a working tool.
UNI 10881:2013 is the national standard that defines the design and delivery of social and health care services for non-self-sufficient residents in residential settings. It provides the Santa Maria Goretti Foundation with a tool to ensure safety, quality, and well-being within residential services, adopting a solid, transparent, and guest-centered organizational system.

" CSQA was delighted to welcome the Foundation's decision to undergo this year, in addition to the ISO 9001 quality management system surveillance audit, already certified in 2024, a further voluntary certification standard, appropriate for organizations that manage residential facilities for the elderly," says Massimiliano Oro, Auditor and Head of CSQA's Personal Services BU. "In fact, in November 2025, we were able to conduct audits in accordance with UNI 10881. This service standard delves into the qualifying factors of residential care for the elderly.
