The first edition of “ Forests on tour, in Veneto ” was held in Thiene with a meeting organised by Legambiente : the appointment was at the Csqa Certificazioni conference centre , in via San Gaetano.
The aim of the event is to raise awareness among institutions, sector operators and citizens of the importance of sustainable and responsible forest management , through certification, forest planning and the cascading use of forest resources, as well as to support and accompany territories in the valorisation of local forest resources.
The "Forest Forum" is divided into two phases . The first is " Forests on Tour ," which organizes in-depth territorial initiatives in several regions, including the Veneto Eco-Sustainable Forests initiative. The second is the national conference on the bioeconomy of forests, which will take place on October 30th in Rome.
