Gender equality certification was introduced as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP); it represents a tool aimed at encouraging the adoption of corporate policies and practices geared towards equity , enhancing diversity, and combating discrimination.

Companies embarking on this journey are required to evaluate and improve various areas, including corporate culture and strategy, career growth opportunities, pay equity, welfare and work-life balance policies, and parenting protections. The journey includes an initial assessment phase, during which internal processes, data, and procedures are analyzed. This is followed by the development of an improvement plan and the implementation of concrete actions, accompanied by staff training. Finally, an independent third-party body verifies compliance with the required standards and issues certification.

“Achieving gender equality certification, achieved thanks to the positive outcome of the CSQA audit , represents a significant milestone for All Citrus and, at the same time , a starting point for continued improvement,” comments General Manager Nicola Modica . “We believe that competitiveness and quality of work also depend on respect, inclusion, and the valorization of each person's skills.”
