This method therefore makes it possible to evaluate the environmental impact in terms of global warming of a product/service along its life cycle.
This assessment therefore intends to provide a common reference tool for quantifying, managing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions .
It is useful for credibly developing one's environmental reputation, and demonstrating one's "accountability" in the fight against climate change to customers or institutions .
To determine the Carbon Footprint it is possible to use, for example, the standards :

- PAS 2050
